Help educate visually impaired students

Bindhu, a student of class 7. She shares her experience of using the tactile books in a composed and confident tone, “Initially, I needed by teacher’s guidance to understand concepts, but with time I’m able to explore and learn on my own. I have learned many new things like North, South, East, and West directions on the tactile map, and how sighted alphabets and numbers look like. I’m able to imagine shapes of objects and monuments like the Taj Mahal, which we’ve always imagined only based on the description the teacher tells us. Now we can touch and feel it ourselves.”
