Help elderly rise

Help Them Rise is a transformative movement initiated by the Creativiti Council, aimed at fostering confidence and self-reliance among bedridden and elderly patients.

As individuals age or face debilitating health conditions, their ability to perform daily activities diminishes, leading to a loss of autonomy and independence. This struggle is particularly pronounced among bedridden patients and those in palliative care, who often rely heavily on caregivers for basic tasks such as toileting, bathing, medication management, and communication. The lack of assistive technology further exacerbates their challenges, making their lives even more difficult and dependent on others.

In collaboration with TIMed – Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology under the Nidhi Prayas initiative by the Government of India, Creativiti Council has developed a self-operated recliner for beds. This innovative product empowers bedridden and paralyzed patients to independently get up from bed and perform basic activities like eating, drinking, reading, and watching TV. By reducing dependency on caregivers and enhancing self-esteem and confidence, this recliner provides much-needed relief for both patients and their caregivers.
