The harsh reality of hunger

"The pain of hunger is the worst. It not only breaks the body but the soul too. These people are extremely poor. There are many who can't even afford one meal a day," Dr. Jay Prasad, a senior member of Dreamer Trust, shares.

Dreamer Trust currently feeds around 250 to 300 people daily, but the need is overwhelming. "Whoever comes to us, almost 90 per cent are extremely malnourished. The lack of proper food has broken their bodies or they have multiple illnesses."

The queue of hungry individuals grows longer every day, with more than 900 to 1,000 people desperately waiting for food.

Urgent need for your support

The Trust is struggling to continue its work. Dr. Prasad explains

"We try to feed as many people as we can but we are unable to do it. Our goal is that we can continue our work. We try to ensure that at least some food goes into their empty stomachs every day." Without urgent funds, this life-saving work might come to a grinding halt.

"If we don't get the funds, we fear that we might have to stop the food distribution."
