Help Mriidu save voiceless felines from dying on the streets

Meet Mriidu Khosla, a woman with a heart as big as her ambitions.

After leaving the corporate world behind to pursue her passion for filmmaking, Mriidu's life took a turn when she met Maximus, a stray cat in need of help. Despite her best efforts, Maximus couldn't be saved.

In 2010, alongside her work Mriidu opened her doors to abandoned felines, realizing that these animals often suffer in silence on the streets of Mumbai. As the number of cats grew, so did her resolve to make a difference.

She along with her team created a space where people could connect with rescued cats while enjoying coffee and cakes. Thus, India's first cat cafe was born.

In 2017, she co-founded The Feline Foundation, an NGO dedicated to improving the lives of stray cats in Versova. Through sterilization programs, rehabilitation efforts, and a low-cost veterinary clinic, we are trying to make a significant impact.

Our latest initiative, the Community Veterinary Clinic, has been a game-changer. With over 4,000 patients treated since its inception, including severe trauma cases, we are saving lives every day. And now, with the addition of an X-ray machine, we are poised to provide even better care, potentially saving over 1,440 helpless strays each year.
