What followed was a grueling year of dialysis and chemotherapy, challenging both physically and emotionally.

In October 2021, Naveen received a life-saving kidney transplant. What many would consider the end of a long medical battle was just the beginning of a powerful comeback. One year later, he laced up his running shoes again—this time as a transplant athlete, determined to reclaim his strength and inspire others through sport.

Representing India at the World Transplant Games 2025

Today, Naveen is set to represent Team India in Football and Athletics at the World Transplant Games 2025 in Dresden, Germany. The Games celebrate the resilience and strength of transplant recipients from across the world, proving that life after organ failure can be vibrant, competitive, and full of promise.
