We believe in breaking the stereotyping of mental health from psychiatry to psychic well-being.Goal of the Organisation: Today DYDF aims to bring happiness to the lives of people suffering from depression, anxiety attacks, suicidal thoughts and suffering any mental health conditions. Vision: To Promote, Prevent, Provide, and create Pathways towards Mental Health and well-being of a million individuals by 2030 Mission: Advocate and Break the stereotyping and prejudices about mental healthBuild an Ecosystem by harmonising a systematic policy change toward easy access to Mental Well-being by sensitising the communities towards a faster recovery.Create a certified training program on mental health &amp; avail sustainable livelihoods as per right-to-work capacity and capabilities.Deliver high quality, culturally competent and integrated mental health services regardless of ability to pay.Educate the first generation of learners to live life by giving back to society. The objective of the Organisation: The Objective of the organization is to assist people to become the ‘captain of their life’ who are suffering from mental ailments like mental stress, and depression, due to which people choose health-hazarding pathways like substance abuse and committing suicide.Extending the cause to support people in living a happy life; the Design Your Destiny Foundation’ is focused to help students in schools and colleges to cope with their studies and individuals working in corporate, government offices, Hospitals, and Institutes who wish to maintain a healthy mental life and Individual Homes where the senior citizens live alone and there is no one to hear their voices.WHAT WE DO:DYDF Belief on Strong Mental Health:A state where a person is able to take decisions and is also ready to accept the end result whether be it positive or negative and is resilient to adversities of life.DYDF Proposed Solutions and Services:DYDF assists people through Online Kiosk Model: DYDF is running a helpline where people with any depression, anxiety, panic attack, workplace pressure, or suicidal thoughts can reach out to the organisation and avail of various counselling services like; 1)    Counselling Model: 1) Face to Face personal counselling (in-person),2) Online Counselling - calls and message support &amp; zoom sessions,3) Group Counselling – Cancer Oncology Counselling, Trauma, etc4) Family Counselling – Entire family counselling to align thoughts and actions for the future.5) Relationship Counselling – (Pre-marriage Counselling and Post-Marriage Counselling) – Couples who wish to plan for marriage or married couples who wish to understand their partners. Divorce Mitigation Counselling – Couples who at the verge of divorce or want to separate from their partners and are unable to take decisions.  2)    Social Service Valuations:a.    Adopt a School/College Model: Design Your Destiny Foundation adopts each school where a counsellor is appointed by the foundation to work end to end; from screening/testing of students' behavioural modalities to providing therapies to grow and live a happy life. Children are sensitized to connect to nature through various activities and perform well in their studies.Some of the Schools where DYDF is working:Fidai Diamond Jubilee High School – Mumbai, MHCBR Model school – Adilabad in TelanganaSlums of Mumbai like Asalpha, Kurla and Thane – Mumbai, MHKarjat Public School – Mumbai, MH Advencheers Model: DYDF connects people to the universe through various activities. Advencheers is the first and the old model; even when DYDF was not formally registered.3.    Treatment Support Assistance (Complementary Therapies): After auditing an issue, an individual needs therapies as part of the curation of life. Design Your Destiny Foundation, provides therapies like Yoga for mindfulness, meditation, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), DNA therapy etc, Aroma Therapy, Naturopathy, Art Therapy etc.Yoga:Meditation:Aromatherapy:Naturopathy:Art Therapy: CANVAS PAINTING:4) Rehabilitation Model: Design Your Destiny Foundation has two types of Rehabilitation1) Institutional Rehabilitation: having 3 centres in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Delhi. The centres cater to victims of various cases of abuse like substance abuse, domestic violence and sexual abuse etc who can stay in the centre under the direct focus of doctors and therapist who helps people overcome their traumas of violence. There is also permanent rehabilitation of People with Disability and Seniors as well as temporary residential support for a few days stay to change the regular environment.2) Community/Home-Based Rehabilitation: Clients having a mental condition or feeling distressed can reach DYDF through a helpline and the counsellors reach their homes to provide assistance for faster recovery.
