In society's bustling streets, hundreds of elderly individuals find themselves abandoned, destitute, and forced to beg for sustenance. Many of these souls endure the torment of hunger, lacking even the strength to ask for help. Traumatized and orphaned by circumstance, these abandoned seniors find solace and security in Priyadarshini Seva Mandali's (PSM) NEST HOME.

Upon entering NEST HOME, these elderly individuals experience a remarkable transformation in their quality of life. With over 105 residents currently under our care, we at PSM are committed to ensuring they live out their days with dignity and respect.

Shelter, Food and Health

Central to our mission is the provision of nutritious meals. Twice daily, our residents are treated to wholesome fare, including dal, rice, sambar, chapathis, curries, and leafy vegetables. While our emphasis is on vegetarian cuisine, we also incorporate eggs and chicken into the menu once a week. Additionally, we offer a variety of beverages such as tea, milk, coffee, as well as health drinks like ragi malt and fruit juices, tailored to their individual health needs.

Ensuring the well-being of our residents extends beyond mere sustenance. At NEST HOME, we prioritize their physical health through comprehensive medical care. Regular check-ups by qualified physicians, diagnostic tests, medication provision, and access to physiotherapy sessions are all integral components of our healthcare regimen. Furthermore, we encourage residents to engage in walking, warm-up exercises, and breathing exercises to promote overall fitness and vitality.
