Help provide education to children of migrant workers

There are multiple factors involved in providing an education to ensure each child is given the best possible chance to learn - and these often go beyond the classroom.

For children from migrant families, lack of access to basic materials and resources are already a constraint and act as deterrents to their attendance and completion of their schooling. Any extra support is a luxury. 

Help us secure our children’s education by supporting trainee teacher salaries and their conveyance, and providing the additional materials they need to get ahead. 

A break up of our requirements: 

• 6 months salary for one trainee teacher for our Bridge Learning programme: INR 1,50,000
• 6 months conveyance contingency for 10 teachers to get them safely to and from our classrooms: INR 1,20,000
• 6 months salary for one trainee teacher for our Early Childhood Care & Education programme: INR 90,000 
• One year salary for a Math Specialist for guiding and building capacity in our dedicated teachers: INR 8,04,000
• Leadership camp to build life skills for 10 adolescent children from our ProActive programme: INR 1,00,000
• Raincoats and umbrellas for all 100 Gubbachi teachers and field associates who work through rain or shine to ensure families send their kids to school: INR 1,50,000
• Learning materials and equipment for a new library at a partner school (Chennagiri): INR 1,46,000
• Classroom painting and repair at a partner school (Harlur): INR 30,000
• School uniforms for 550 schoolchildren: INR 2,75,000
• School bags for 300 children: INR 1,20,000
