Help Provide Nutrition: Zero Hunger Campaign for Migrant Children

In the heart of Bangalore, many migrant children face the harsh reality of hunger and food insecurity, which sadly hinders their growth and potential. The absence of appropriate nutrition in the early years profoundly impacts a child's well-being and brain development.

At Sampark, we are on a mission to change this narrative. Across 26 Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) centres, we provide essential nutrition and unwavering support to these children, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals and the opportunity to thrive.

Our dedicated teachers closely monitor the nutritional status of each child using the new WHO child growth standards, diligently recording their height and weight on a monthly basis. With utmost care and attention, they identify children who are malnourished, classifying them as undernourished or severely undernourished. For undernourished children, we offer a special diet, tailor-made to ensure their growth and overall well-being.
