Help Raise 40 Bedridden Individuals in Sreenarayanapuram

We are launching the 3rd edition of our flagship programme, Uyaram Kaythumbil (Raising on Fingertips), after successfully providing 40 CI Care Backrests to bedridden individuals. In this edition, we aim to transform the lives of 40 more bedridden individuals in Sreenarayanapuram Panchayath, and Kaypamangalam Panchayath, Thrissur, Kerala by supporting them with 20 CI Care Backrests. These individuals include elderly bedridden patients, stroke survivors, and people with spinal injuries, hemiplegia, cerebral palsy, and other severe mobility challenges.

The CI Care Backrest is a self-operated backrest that enables individuals to sit up independently, reducing constant physical strain on caregivers and restoring a basic sense of dignity and comfort in daily life. We are implementing this programme in partnership with SN Puram Grama Panchayath, ensuring that support reaches those who need it most in the community.

With the support of VOSAP and Aid Kriya, we have already secured a 45% subsidy for each backrest. Now, we only need ₹5,400 per backrest to make this essential aid available to each of the 20 financially struggling individuals identified.

Your support—whether it is a full donation of ₹5,400 to fund one backrest or any amount you are able to contribute towards this cause—will be pooled to help us reach all 20 individuals. Every contribution brings us one step closer to ensuring that no one has to lie flat and wait helplessly for someone to lift them up.
