Help Shri Chhatrapati Charitable save orphan elderly, children people from malnutrition and starvation

Mahadev Jadhav, 82, lives alone in Lohata P village of the Dharashiv district in Maharashtra. A few years back his wife passed away and doesn't have any offspring to look after him. But life has been hard for Mahadev, as he cannot work in the fields any longer to meet his basic needs. He says“I feel helpless very lonely and I have gone to bed many times by only drinking water to satisfy his hunger so that he can sleep”. That was before Shri Chhatrapati Charitable came to Mahadev's rescue.

Through its Shivbhog Kitchen program, Shri Chhatrapati Charitable Foundation provides 615 abandoned elderly people like Mahadev with two nutritious meals a day.

The problem in the drought-hit Marathwada is huge and Shri Chhatrapati Charitable Foundation would like to expand its kitchen facilities to many more villages. But Shri Chhatrapati Charitable Foundation cannot do it without your support. Donate now.

The kitchen mainly supports elderly citizens above 65 years with no source of income, people with disabilities, the destitute, widows and elderly, and children orphans. The programme already has a large impact in the areas where it is operating. It first approaches Gram Panchayats to understand the needs and the number of people who will need help in the kitchen. After a detailed study, Shri Chhatrapati Charitable Foundation opens a community kitchen and encourages the elderly to come and have meals or supply meals to them at their doorstep.

There are thousands of elderly people and Children in the drought-hit region who need help. But Shri Chhatrapati Charitable Foundation cannot expand its operations without your help. The organisation needs urgent help to feed and take care of abandoned elderly citizens in more districts of Maharashtra and out of Maharashtra.
