The hidden reality of human trafficking

“There was a girl, she was basically sold at the age of 10 years. She was so pretty she was sold from brothel to brothel. She would be in each brothel for merely six months. She was beaten and basically kept hungry just to break her. When she was trafficked the pi*mps and men would come and hit her for no reason, drag her. They would burn her with cigarette butts. And in places where she couldn't sit or stand. She was deprived of food and water for two days or so. She was tied to a window” says Ramona while explaining the plight that young girls go through at the hand of abusers. 

Ramona and her organisation have helped hundreds of girls find renewed purpose in life and many of whom have even gone on to become entrepreneurs. Chaiim can not shoulder the cost of rehabilitating survivors on their own. They are in urgent need to keep their work going. Support Ramona now

“When a woman comes into Chaiim Foundation she's given a good wage, she's given a good house to stay in, She's given good education. We ensure that women and girls can live a productive and fulfilling life, Says Ramona. 

She further adds, “Today our girls are not only changing their own lives but that of thousands of other women who can not afford sanitary napkins. Survivors of trafficking and abuse today produce thousands of napkins and distribute it to the women from ultra poor families in slums and villages.
