A GarageWorks Initiative: Help the mechanics survive the Corona Crisis

India is fighting the COVID-19 crisis and the whole nation has been under lock-down since March 22nd. One of the segments that is suffering the most is the automobile mechanics whose daily earning has been ripped off as their operations have come to halt! Several technician partners who have faced the brunt of the lock-down; their families are suffering as their little savings are reaching exhaustion point.

With uncertainty on the period and extension of lock-down, we as responsible citizens aim to take care of the mechanic community and their family’s essential needs (food and healthcare).

GarageWorks in collaboration with Sambhav Foundation, is looking for your support in helping the mechanic partners survive the crisis. A lot of partners along with their families have already run of cash and essentials to survive and are either piling up loan liabilities or are sleeping empty stomachs. This crisis bundled with their burdens of paying up home and garage rentals will lead to a major recession crisis!

With your generous donations, together we aim to support 75,000 individuals (15,000 partners with an average of 5 people per family) across Mumbai, Pune & Bangalore; Maharashtra being heavily affected by the widespread of Coronavirus.
