Help the flood victims of Tamil Nadu and Andhra in their hour of need

Floods in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh have shocked the world, with Cyclone Michaung leaving devastation behind. While some of the most affluent colonies in Chennai were submerged and without electricity for days, thousands of people living near the coast in Tamil Nadu and Andhra in the low-lying areas have ended up on the streets. They are displaced, lacking shelter, food, and clean drinking water. Sadly, there have been a few deaths too.

With the floods triggered by the cyclone washing away homes, it may take a while for the affected people to rebuild their lives. Tens of thousands of hectares of land full of crops have also been lost.

While the state and central governments have jumped to the rescue, we can do our bit by helping the NGOs working on the ground to make an immediate difference in the lives of those affected.
