Help us in shaping lives of female sex workers' children

In Yavatmal district, many children are living with their mothers in brothels. These brothels are located in Wani, Pusad, Arni, Umarkhed and Yavatmal. They do not get proper care in terms of nutrition ,health, education and they are most vulnerable to abuse. About four hundred children are living in such brothels who are neglected from their basic rights.

We are running the crèche for 90 orphaned and underprivileged children of female sex workers at Wani,Jalka,Chandrapur in Maharashtra. Children in crèche gets nutritious food, health facilities, supplementary education, recreation and family atmosphere. Afterwards organizations takes multiple efforts for their higher education and placements at appropriate places.

18 girls, who studied in our creche completed their nursing diploma in Pune city and are now placed in various renowned hospitals in Pune itself. Our other children are also studying and some have completed their study in various institutions as social work, polytechnic, ITI and placed for jobs. They credit the progress in their lives to the good exposure and opportunities to make their future bright to live as a productive and responsible citizen.
