This is what we at village Lab Foundation are building in Ladakh - A living, breathing learning ecosystem, rooted in culture, nature, and collection wisdom.

Our Programs

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 (𝐘𝐑𝐏)

The Young Readers Program focuses on language development and foundational literacy for children grades 2 - 5 through interactive reading and storytelling sessions. It also establishes mini-libraries across villages in Ladakh and works to create a collection of culturally relevant resources for local children.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐢 𝐖𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

The Ladakhi Way After-School Program is a culturally rooted initiative designed for students in grades 6 to 9. It combines experiential learning with traditional knowledge, using the village as a learning lab and local elders and youth as facilitators. Through hands-on activities, community engagement, and creative projects, the program fosters critical thinking, communication skills, and a deep connection to Ladakh’s heritage—empowering learners to grow with confidence and purpose.
