“How can a child study or stay healthy if they spend nights shivering from cold?” Prince asks. Winter illnesses like pneumonia, fever, and respiratory infections hit homeless children and elderly people the hardest.

For them, a blanket is not a comfort item—it is life-saving support.

Through this initiative, Challengers Group identifies:

• Children living on footpaths and in slums
• Elderly people without family support
• Daily wage workers and homeless individuals

and ensures blankets reach them directly on the ground, where the need is most urgent.

One blanket can mean:

• A child sleeping peacefully
• An elderly person protected from illness
• A worker strong enough to earn the next day

Reaching those who are often unseen

“At Challengers Group, we don’t believe in waiting for people to come to us,” Prince says. “We go to them—Near Metro Stations, slums, footpaths, shelters—where help is rarely available.”
