Did you know that in rural Uttar Pradesh, thousands of young people (ages 16-40) are unknowingly living with Viral Hepatitis? Nearly 80% of people with HBV or HCV in UP remain undiagnosed until they reach advanced stages. By the time they feel sick, it’s often too late- leading to liver failure and cancer.

EmpowerCare Foundation is on the ground right now, screening families and linking them to treatment to save lives. But we can't do it alone.

How your donations will be used:

Your donations will help us conduct screenings in 25 high disease burden villages- screen more than 50000 individuals and test 25,000+ high risk individuals with aim of interrupting disease transmission and moving towards disease elimination in those villages.

Your contributions will help save many lives who might have the infection but are not aware.

Activities:

1. Hepatitis B and C Screening camps in 25 high disease burden villages creating an impact on reducing morbidity and mortality.
2. Referral linkages to Government's Viral Hepatitis control program for treatment for those detected positive.
3. Information, education communication and individual counsellings in those villages for reducing disease transmission and improving Hepatitis B vaccination uptake for disease prevention.
