Dear Akshara Supporter/well-wisher,

 We’re excited to share that this year we’ve facilitated nearly 5,000 Gram Panchayat Math Contests in Karnataka, in just one month! Now, we need your help to take the next steps.

It’s time to

·      Share findings from the math contests with all stakeholders including parents and communities.

·      Raise awareness about the importance of numeracy skills in an age of technology.

·      Recognise and Reward children's learning levels at the local and district levels.

These reports will help educators and communities focus on where children need extra support.

Our Goal: This fundraiser will help us organize district-wise events in Karnataka, showcasing children’s learning levels and recognizing the top 25 schools and Gram Panchayats in each district.

Cost: ₹35,000 per event (including seminars, reports, and refreshments), totaling ₹8,75,000 for 25 events.
