Setu Mitra India is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and supportive spaces for adolescents, youth, and women in the Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. With a mission to foster social justice, equity, and harmony, Setu Mitra empowers marginalized communities through critical learning, community leadership, and participatory action. Operating in the Fatehpur block of Barabanki, the organization works with youth and adolescents on critical issues like youth leadership, digital justice and safety, health and wellbeing, and gender equality.

Through its Youth Leadership and Wellbeing program, Setu Mitra builds leadership with vision, voice, and values, integrating life skills with physical, mental, and sexual health education. Platforms like SEHAT Adda provide safe spaces for open discussions, while KHEL Adda uses sports to foster teamwork and resilience, inspiring girls to lead and engage in their communities. The Re-imagining Masculinity & Responsible Digital Citizenship initiative engages boys to express emotions healthily, promote equality, and practice responsible online behavior, reducing gender-based violence. The Digital Learning and Awareness Center equips girls with digital literacy, safe internet practices, and access to education and government services, bridging the digital divide.
