In 2025 the Elevate Program offers a well designed curriculum to build a foundational understanding of SEL and its importance in everyday life. Students explored how SEL skills—like understanding and managing emotions, nurturing positive relationships, making responsible decisions, and handling challenges with composure—help shape a confident, compassionate, and empowered persona. Women are participants learnt about the five core SEL competencies:
🌱 Self-Awareness
🌱 Self-Management
🌱 Social Awareness
🌱 Relationship Skills
🌱 Responsible Decision-Making
The activity encouraged critical thinking, teamwork, and reflection, with model answers collectively reviewed to reinforce learning and practical application.

We know that silence around menstrual health creates confusion, myths, and shame.Womenablers Foundation recently conducted an engaging and interactive session on Menstrual Health Education with 261 students of Government Girls School, Wazirabad, Gurgaon (Classes 10, 11 & 12). The session focused on opening dialogue and building knowledge. What we covered — and why it matters:
Menstrual & biological process → to help students understand what happens in their bodies.
Cycle & symptoms → to recognize patterns and manage them better.
Hygiene practices → because health and safety come first.
Taboos & myths → to challenge harmful beliefs holding girls back.
Period tracking with the Evecare App → to encourage self-awareness and use of digital solutions.
Through an activity, the girls shared their unique symptoms and experiences—realizing they are not alone and that everybody is unique. Our aim is to create safe spaces where adolescent girls can talk, learn, and support each other—because menstrual health should never be a taboo.
Dr. Kaori Singh, MBBS (PGIMS, Rohtak), Ex-MO Cardiology Department, Artemis Hospital (Gurgaon) holds a special interest in is contributing as a facilitator for our Menstrual Health & Education (MHE) workshops, bringing her medical expertise to empower young women with accurate knowledge about their bodies, cycles, and health.
