Parents being poor are unable to provide their children the required medication. These children affected by regular bouts of fits do not go out of the home. Being physically weak they mostly lie down on the bed. Most of them do not go to school. Under duress these children look to be mentally retarded.

Vikash believes in human initiative, strength and innovativeness, rather than on charity. Vikash believes "small is beautiful" but at the same time we realize that small things can perish without making much contribution to the whole.  Like streams coming together to form a river, the growth of great civilizations come from a network of small initiatives - their overall joint effort realizing more significance. Here at Vikash, we have designed our line of action to work in large areas while maintaining the beauty and sanctity of small things. With a strong determination to serve the people in need, Vikash spreads its activities in 14 districts of the State. With time spreads its wing to infinite, Vikash dreams to spread its initiative beyond the boundaries made by man. We the people of Vikash, sure, we will succeed. We will be happy, one day, about our contribution to the development of society.
