India STEM Foundation is a registered (Sec 25, Companies act 1956) not-for-profit organization (80G/FCRA complaint) engaged in promoting hands-on STEM education via contemporary technologies (robotics, programming, IOT etc.) among students at an early age. The founding members’ long-term association with fields that required hands-on technical &amp; life skills (machine tools, design &amp; automation) triggered them to promote an ecosystem at an early education to provide hands-on engagement for CS-STEM subjects via learning by doing or do-it-yourself activities. Started off collaborations with like-minded organizations like US FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) to implement globally acclaimed STEM themed competitions, they have directed ISF to effectively implement varied interventions like school STEM infrastructure establishment, students as well as teachers training, employee-volunteers driven workshops etc. The programs have further enabled collaborations with schools (private, state govt. central govt.), government organizations (National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture, Department of Science &amp; Technology, NITI Aayog) and corporate partners alike.
