Every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment to grow, learn, and thrive. Yet, in many communities across Sitamarhi, Vaishali, Patna, Rohtas, Munger, Kishanganj, and beyond, children face grave threats such as child labour, trafficking, sexual abuse, and early marriage.

At Bihar Gram Vikas Parishad we provide counseling and legal support to victims of abuse under the POCSO Act to rescuing children from the clutches of labor, trafficking, and marriage. We engage with communities, Anganwadi workers, adolescent girls, mothers' groups, and government officials at every level, advocating for the establishment of robust child protection mechanisms and ensuring access to education for every child along with this we also aim to break taboos and spreading awareness about family planning and safe abortion practices.

We also take sanitation initiatives that access to clean sanitation is a basic human right. Through community-driven initiatives and collaboration with organizations like Goonj, we're improving sanitation infrastructure and promoting hygiene practices, leading to healthier and more dignified lives for all.

Our Impact Speaks Volumes:

• Child Rescues: 14 children liberated from exploitative labor conditions and placed under the care of government facilities for rehabilitation.
• Child Marriage Prevention: 190 girls safeguarded from the scourge of early marriage, ensuring their right to a childhood and education.
• Education Access: 16 street children and 47 dropouts reintegrated into the school system, with 67 previously out-of-school children now enrolled and thriving.
• Support for Victims: 77 survivors of child sexual abuse receiving crucial counseling and legal assistance, paving the way for healing and justice.
• Community Mobilization: Through innovative awareness campaigns including wall paintings, street plays, and candle marches, we're igniting conversations and mobilizing communities to stand up for children's rights.
