Journey from I Can`t to I Can

Through Lakshya Jeevan Jagriti, we are re-imagining empowerment by building voice, choice and equity in children and youth coming from the poorest of poor urban neighborhoods.

We envision youth from the low economic background, finding their voice, expressing their power, living their dreams, and becoming leaders in their communities. We directly work with youth (aged 18 to 30) who receive training in community leadership, IT, and career readiness-like programs.

 After these course, Lakshya trains them in interview skills and assists them to get a job. All of these enhance the productivity of these individuals which in turn makes them efficient and competent & simultaneously gears them for the challenges that life has in store. 

Ragini is one of the girls, even after all the struggles she was facing at home. She never set any limitations on herself and her learning. She was always ready to take on challenges. She wanted to do a GNM course but due to financial problems and lack of support, she gave up on that dream. When she knew about the GDA course from her friend she came to us and discussed her problem. After communicating and clearing her doubts, she joined the GDA program to start her career in Health Care Sector and after completing the course now she is doing an internship in a hospital.

Ragini- "Joining this course was the turning point of my life now I can take decisions for myself.

We are raising funds for 1000 youth from amongst the lowest income households from urban slums in and around Delhi.

Come and support Ragini-like youth to become independent and support Rs. 10,000 for the entire training, nutrition and placement for 6 months or 2500/- per month.

The total cost of training one individual on all the aspects and making them employable is Rs 10000 /- Your donation will be used to fund teaching expenses, stationery and other miscellaneous expenses.
