About Vipla Foundation:

Founded in 1988 by the late Mrs. Vipula Kadri, over the last 35 years Vipla Foundation has relentlessly worked towards the enrichment of the lives of underprivileged children and women. In the last 10 years, Vipla Foundation has reached out to 10,00,000+ beneficiaries in the areas of Early Childhood Care, Education, Inclusion, and Women Empowerment and Child Protection through Anti-Human Trafficking and Skilling initiatives.

Vipla Foundation’s unwavering commitment lies in addressing all forms of exploitation, and discrimination against vulnerable women and children in India, especially human trafficking of women and children. They fight against gender-based violence and crimes by working with communities to create a safe and empowering environment and advocate for access to rights and justice to ensure women and children can live with dignity and self-respect. Through their Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative, they work towards bringing systemic changes and strengthening the prevention of human trafficking and gender-based violence; while concurrently enhancing child protection measures.  Vipla Foundation adopts the internationally acclaimed 5 P approach of Prevention, Protection, Prosecution, Partnership, and Policy to address trafficking. This approach enables them to tackle trafficking comprehensively and forge collaborations with various government departments, thereby fortifying the systemic response that enables averting these heinous crimes, safeguarding survivors, and bringing the perpetrators of gender-based violence, including human trafficking, to justice in India.

 Vipla Foundation believes violence against women can be reduced if women are empowered and financially independent. To this end, they provide support, encouragement, and empowerment to women, equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge they need through their Livelihood Initiatives. These initiatives encompass Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Development programs that enable women to lead their lives with self-respect and dignity.
