Give Migrant Children in Noida a Safe Childhood. In the high-rises of Noida, a hidden childhood is being lost. Behind every building in Noida are thousands of migrant workers who built this city. Their children live in single-room settlements, with no school, no safe place to play, and no one to care for them while their parents work 12-hour days. Left alone, they are at high risk of child labor, abuse, trafficking, and a lifetime out of schools.
SADRAG has been protecting these children since 2010. We rescued 6000+ children through Childline 1098 and now run Ugta Suraj learning centres in their villages. Now we want to do more.We are building a Safe Children's Home (Day Care Institution) in Noida for migrant children — a place where they will get:
✓ A safe, loving place to stay during the day
✓ Nutritious meals & health care
✓ Admission to school + after-school coaching
✓ Play, art, life-skills and counselling
✓ Protection from labour and abuse
This is not just a shelter. It is their chance to reclaim their childhood. We need your support to build and run this home for 50 children in its first year.
