As we move forward through these tough times, let us keep in mind that there are many children amongst many others, who have been having a tough-time throughout, more so during the pandemic. Two years on, as urban children attend classes online, the children in villages may not even recollect what their classrooms look like, or remember how to read and write. Still, traditional textbooks, notebooks, pencils are their key resources for learning. Likewise, the missed-out, who already survive on the edge of the society, have been pushed away further and are struggling to survive. More about our work in our recent Ground report.

With this situation ringing a constant bell in our minds, we would like to invite you to explore the opportunity to do something for our fellow citizens through our annual festival of giving ‘Daan Utsav’ (earlier called the Joy of Giving Week), which is celebrated every year from 2nd to 8th October.

Objective 

To raise funds for 20,000 school kits for children in villages to provide them access to resources to support their education & learning. The support of Rs. 300/- for a school kit would ensure that children continue to improve their literacy skills. 

Together, we can bring joy to the lives of many by fulfilling the growing monetary and material resource need.
