Welcome to our crowdfunding campaign for the Kandhamal Zilla Sabuja Vaidya Sangathan's (KZSVS) Livelihood Programme!

Who We Are: KZSVS is a grassroots organization committed to improving the lives of tribal communities in the Kandhamal district of Odisha, India. We believe that sustainable agriculture can transform the lives of these marginalized communities and ensure a brighter future for them.

 Our Mission

 In the heart of Kandhamal, we have identified 50 remote, tribal villages where more than 2,000 families struggle to make ends meet. These villages are not only geographically isolated but also lack access to proper resources, education, and healthcare. The main source of livelihood in these areas is agriculture, which is highly susceptible to climate change and limited by traditional farming techniques. Our mission is to empower these tribal communities to overcome the challenges they face by transitioning to sustainable agriculture and ensuring their long-term self-sufficiency. We aim to provide them with the tools, knowledge, and resources they need to build resilient livelihoods.

 The Livelihood Programme

 Our Approach: Our Livelihood Programme is a comprehensive initiative designed to:

Introduce sustainable agricultural practices that are climate-resilient.

• Provide training on organic farming, modern irrigation techniques, and crop diversification.
• Establish community seed banks to preserve local crop varieties.
• Improve access to clean water and sanitation facilities.
• Create women's self-help groups for economic empowerment.
• Enhance healthcare and nutrition awareness.
