Lighting Pathways through Robotics Education 

Greetings from Falkon Robotics and the Payir Trust! We're excited to share an initiative that's close to our hearts – an effort to bring knowledge, innovation, and opportunities to 4th - 8th grade students of Payir. We invite you to join hands with us in this transformative journey, crafted especially for these young minds from different backgrounds. Through this we are working on bringing a STEM Robotics Kit to Payir, and having Falkon Robotics' students help teach the students through this engineering process.

Payir and Falkon Robotics’s Vision

We both share one dream, to introduce the world of robotics to 4th - 8th grade students at Payir, many of whom have not explored this space before. Our aim is to raise funds for a FIRST Lego Robotics SPIKE kit, a versatile tool that promises a world of learning and creativity. This kit will find a home at Payir's Aarvam Explotarium, bringing the magic of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to these eager learners.

Our Mission 

Falkon Robotics, a team driven by a love for innovation and robotics, is partnering with the dedicated educators at Payir Trust. Our shared mission is to create a learning experience that's unique. Together, we will guide these young learners on a journey of engineering – from turning ideas into real-world models. Through teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking, students will develop skills that go beyond robotics.

What do we hope to teach? 

Learning by Doing: With the SPIKE kit, learning becomes hands-on and filled with wonder. Payir's teachers and Falkon Robotics' students will teach and mentor the students during their time with the kit through online and in-person sessions.

Exploring New Horizons: Students will delve into engineering fields like Design, Manufacturing, Prototyping, and Testing – opportunities they've never had before.

Growing Tech-Savvy: Basic computer skills will be nurtured, giving students the confidence to embrace technology.

The Challenges Faced by Rural Children 

In rural India, access to quality education and opportunities can be a challenge. Many of these students have not had a chance to explore many STEM fields such as Robotics. Despite these difficulties, these children show remarkable resilience. However, they lack the resources to fully nurture their potential. Payir’s initiative aims to bridge this gap, offering them a chance to shine!

How much does it cost?

In order to purchase two SPIKE Prime Kit, we require around 74,412 rupees ($900). This kit will help countless 4th - 8th grade students at Payir. However, if we are able to raise more than the initial goal of , funding will be utilized to buy SPIKE Prime extension kits and FIRST Lego Mission Builds for the students or ,if reached, more kits for different locations to aid and reach more students at Payir!
