For the first time, Jidnyasa built a circuit and saw a tiny LED glow. Her smile wasn’t just about a light—it was the moment she believed in her own potential.

But Jidnyasa’s story isn’t just personal. It reflects a global education challenge that UNESCO has documented:

🌍 Girls and women make up only about 35% of STEM graduates worldwide, and this number has barely changed in the past decade—despite progress in school access and enrolment.

👩‍🔬 Only one in three researchers globally is a woman, and in some countries like our India fewer than one in ten are women.

💡 In highly specialized fields like AI and data science, women represent only around 26% of the workforce—far below parity.

These global gaps start young—not in college, but in early attitudes toward science, confidence in math, and access to hands-on learning opportunities.

At Mil Ke Chalo Association, we believe talent is everywhere—but opportunity is not. That’s why we bring mobile science labs, real experiments, and guided discovery to schools where resources are scarce.

In the past year alone, we’ve reached:

• 4,000+ students across rural and semi-urban schools
• 35+ government schools with hands-on science experiences
• 30% first-generation learners, many of them girls seeking confidence, not just grades

After participating:

• 78% of students report increased interest in science
