Empowering Children with the Knowledge to Stay Safe

Every child deserves to grow up in an environment where they feel safe, heard, and empowered. Yet, many children remain vulnerable due to lack of awareness about personal safety, healthy boundaries, and their rights.

Last year, through the generous support of our community, we raised ₹7 lakhs through our crowdfunding campaign. These funds helped us reach 1300+ children and 800+ parents and teachers with critical awareness sessions on personal safety and prevention of child sexual abuse.

With this support, we were also able to begin developing audio-visual learning tools for parents to help them initiate conversations about safety with their children. Alongside this, we started working on a child-friendly comic featuring stories and poems that introduce concepts like child rights, private body part rules, healthy boundaries, and personal safety in a way children can easily understand.

Building on this momentum, we are launching our 2026 crowdfunding campaign to expand our reach and deepen our impact.

Our goal this year (2026-27) is to empower:

• 1500 children
• 500 parents
• 300 teachers and educators

through structured awareness programs on the prevention of child sexual abuse.

The funds raised will help us:

• Conduct interactive workshops for children, parents, educators, and school staff

• Facilitate sessions in high-risk communities and vulnerable clusters

• Partner with schools, NGOs, and community groups to strengthen child protection awareness

• Disseminate creative awareness materials like posters and child-friendly comics on safety and boundaries

Preventing child sexual abuse begins with awareness, conversation, and empowerment. By equipping children and the adults around them with the right knowledge and tools, we can help create safer environments where children can thrive.
