On average, it costs INR 7,500 to support one child per year through our programs. With your contribution in this first phase of crowdfunding , we aim to raise INR 15 lakh, which will enable us to positively impact the lives of children we work with.Your support will directly contribute to providing holistic learning opportunities, better resources, and a brighter future for the children in our programs. Help me support a cause close to my heart

Learning Initiatives for India (LIFI) is established as a Section 8 company and is 12A, 80G certified. It was started in the middle of the pandemic (COVID-19) when Raman Bahl (Founder) met Neelam in the village Purkhas Rathi, near Sonipat, Haryana. Purkhas Rathi is about 70 km away from Delhi. Raman was then working on a project with OoSC in Gurgaon, Haryana mentoring a team of 70 community teachers, which got severely affected because of the pandemic.On 27th July 2020, we started our Suno aur Seekho program with around 16 children in Purkhas Rathi. ‘Suno aur Seekho’ - LIFI’s flagship program that leveraged audio lessons and aligned activities and worksheets cater to the foundational literacy and numeracy skills of children. LIFI has now evolved as an organisation having sailed the last 2 academic sessions and having worked with more than 700 children. 80% of the children went back to schools as they got reopened in these multiple contexts. LIFI is now a team of 4 full-time members working with more than 16 Youth Teacher Leaders and a collective of 3 partner organisations in 5 states - Delhi, UP, Haryana, MP, and Uttarakhand.
