LIONS EYE HOSPITAL

The NGO, Lions Eye Hospital Ghaziabad is conducting regular eye check-up camps in a radius of approx 150 km and serving around 10 million needy persons residing in seven nearby districts. Presently, these camps are being conducted by ophthalmologists with traditional equipment. The NGO wishes to upgrade the system of eye check-up camps by using the latest technology equipment to serve the underprivileged persons of the area in a better way.

The NGO, Lions Eye Hospital Ghaziabad is looking for the latest technology equipment to serve needy people. For which the NGO requires a portable handheld Slit Lamp for accurate diagnoses of Cataracts and other Anterior Segment Diseases; Presently, the NGO is using torch light to detect the same. Further, the NGO is also required a handheld portable instaref R-20 to give quick and accurate glass prescriptions to its patients at distant places. The NGO also require a beam splitter and a microscope camera which will help it in conducting cataract surgery more smoothly as an OT assistant will also be able to watch the surgery.

The use of these latest equipment will help the NGO to serve the needy and underprivileged persons in a better way, with the latest state-of-the-art equipment generating quick and accurate results. The donors will be duly recognised at the campsite by displaying a banner stating that the camp equipment is donated by AMAZON under Employee Grant Project.
