Ma Sharanam School

We are running(since 2015) a residential, free High School, approved by MP Education Board. Local village students also join a school with hostellers(50 in number) having total school strength of 216 boys and girls. We have seventeen teaching staff including principal, our monthly expenses for school and hostel is Two lakhs forty thousand. This expense was managed through funds from foreign donors(maximum) as well as few domestic individual donors. Due to the Pandemic, donations received from foreign donors were reduced drastically and almost nil donations from domestic donors. At present, we are not able to meet our expenses, in comparison to donations received.

To generate more funds, we looking forward to crowdfunding. We are starting a new campaign for local donors and foreign donors.

We are working near the NARMADA river belt since 2000, formally from 2012. One of our students (Ashish Tripathi) from a very poor background is pursuing the CA Final. One of the students (Kagu Barela) has completed LLM and now waiting for the UPSC mains result, many more such stories. In absence of funding, such success stories will not be possible.
