# Rape is the fourth most common crime against women in India. According to the 2021 annual report of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), 31,677 rape cases were registered across the country, or an average of 86 cases daily, a rise from 2020 with 28,046 cases, while in 2019, 32,033 cases were registered Of the total 31,677 rape cases, 28,147(nearly 89%) of the rapes were committed by persons known to the victim.  The share of victims who were minors or below 18 - the legal age of consent - stood at 10%

Total rape cases in Maharashtra (2019): 2299

According to the latest National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5), nearly 1 in 3 Indian women age 18-49 have suffered some form of spousal abuse; and around 6% have suffered sexual violence.

We conduct the social- economical survey in urban, Remote rural, and tribal areas and identify the root causes and work on it! it give us strong data base for understanding the real problem. We believe in holistic development approach of development! if we want to established institution of equality in society we need to work on whole aspects and we need to give sustainable solution on root causes then it will happens! We working on both side because if we work with only women/ girls it will not work because the aspect who's affecting this is Male dominant culture! we have to work on to develop Complementarity approach in upcoming generation! it will not gave you results instantly but after 2/5 years we will be the Witness of the New Age and You will be called yourself as Agent of change!

Now, we also need to work on enabling of women with holistic approach! because our study shows that, If we work on one particular aspect will not show sustainable results! now we need to think, What type of results we expect?

We trying we reach more and more communities but due to lack of funds we unable to execute our full potential work!
