In India since 1966 Sightsaver’s mission is to eliminate avoidable blindness and promote equality of opportunity for disabled people. Our core areas of work are on improving eye health and treating avoidable blindness, advocating for social inclusion of people with disabilities and promoting inclusive education in schools.

Till date approximately 55 million persons reached with potential eye problems, 36.4 million eye treatments, and 5 million eye operations have been achieved.
