Meals for Change - Vedant Ashok

I’m Vedant Ashok, a 16-year-old high school student, and I’m fundraising for children who deserve a full meal and a fair chance at education.

For millions of children in India, hunger isn’t just an empty stomach. It feels like a lock on the doors to education, health, and a better future. A child who goes to school hungry struggles to focus, to learn, and sometimes leaves school altogether because there is no food at home.

My journey into this cause began with my own nutrition. I always had enough to eat and never had to worry about my next meal. Realizing that so many children live with far less made me want to change that.

I am partnering with Akshaya Patra, an organization that provides hot, nutritious meals to schoolchildren every day. These meals offer children the chance to learn, grow, and dream.

Through this campaign, I want to make sure no child goes hungry. Together, we can turn hunger into hope and ensure every child’s plate and future are full.
