Nakshatra Sports – Talent platform for 350 underprivileged kids

There’s only one thing that talented young children seek - an earnest opportunity. "Nakshatra" provides a platform for children from shelter homes to ‘Dream,’ exhibit their talents, ‘Discover’ their potential, and ‘Dazzle’ in an atmosphere of healthy competition. This way, we contribute to their holistic development through extra-curricular activities.

Nakshatra first started in the year 2009 in Chennai and the year 2014 in Pune. Since then, we have conducted nakshatra arts for 1500+ kids annually until 2019.

The unprecedented situation of COVID-19 pushed us to innovate, and our volunteer team successfully conducted Nakshatra online.

Last year, we had 450+ kids from 18 shelter homes participate in Nakshatra arts. We are proud to raise funds for NAKSHATRA, a cause that has always been close to our hearts, to enrich the talent of these kids from humble backgrounds.

Nakshatra Sports Pune 2024: Unleashing the Spirit of Sports

In a groundbreaking endeavor, Nakshatra Sports is set to make its mark in Pune with an exhilarating array of 15 diverse track-field, outdoor, and indoor events. Scheduled for its debut in 2024 . From the lightning-fast sprints of 100 meters to the strategic moves on the chessboard, the event caters to a wide spectrum of sporting interests, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among kids .

The sporting palette of Nakshatra Sports Pune 2024 includes not only traditional track and field events like the 4x100 meters relay, long jump, and shot put but also indoor games such as chess and carrom. Outdoor team sports like football, kho-kho, kabaddi, throwball, and volleyball add an exciting dynamic to the mix, creating a unique platform that celebrates the diversity of sports.
