Vanashakti is a dedicated environmental NGO based in Maharashtra, committed to protecting India’s rich natural heritage through on-ground conservation, education, and legal advocacy. For over a decade, our projects have empowered communities, restored degraded ecosystems, and defended vulnerable habitats across the state—from the Western Ghats to urban wetlands and mangroves.

But we can't do this alone.

• Wetland & River Protection: Legal action and clean-up drives to save Maharashtra’s vital water bodies.

• to stop encroachments and raise awareness about these climate-critical ecosystems.
