Poverty is a perennial problem in the tribal area of Jawhar (Dist. Palghar, Maharashtra). People have been living in this state for generations with very little improvement in their conditions. While unemployment and lack of entrepreneurship are some of the main reasons for poverty, the pandemic has further worsened the situation.As the rural economy is slowly bouncing back to normalcy, building a vibrant rural community is one of the biggest priorities for us and we believe that making the people self-reliant wherein they are able to support themselves and their families, in the long run, is one of the best ways to address the problem.NeevJivan Foundation has been working in the area of Skill Development &amp; Vocational Training for our fellow citizens in rural India. We work with the primary objective of creating opportunities for sustainable livelihood for the women &amp; youth living in these areas in order to improve their standard of living in the long run.
