Vidya & Child works in marginalised communities, exploring the unique potential in each child by providing opportunities for value integrated learning and development. 

Vision – 

To be a movement which acts as a catalyst in enabling sensitivity and community consciousness in children of marginalized communities through value integrated and holistic education in India

Mission –

Vidya & Child works with the mission to help bridge the gap for those children who have no access to the learning facilities existing in our society.

It works toward providing a value integrated learning environment leading to a strong educational foundation and enable a child in identifying the uniqueness within.

Long term engagement with each parent to develop a shared vision for each child. This enables the child to close socio-economic gaps and access mainstream opportunities

Academic Intervention through

School Programme– Nursery to Class 8


  • To provide value based integrated education to first generation learners from low income families for holistic development.
  • To create a sense of shared responsibility, motivate parents and internalise the support needed for the education process of a child through school and beyond.
  • Focus on Teacher Enablement to improve teaching learning processes and develop teachers as future leaders of the organisation

After School Support Programme –Academic support for Class 9 to 12


  • Reinforcement of concepts taught in school
  • Child-wise tracking of attendance and performance to ensure no drop outs
  • Career Counselling and Mentoring for Career Identification

NIOS Support Programme - Academic support for Class 9 to 12


  • Programme for over-aged children who are not able to go to a regular school

Foundation Programme –Financial and Mentoring Support for higher education – Class 12+
