Nutrition and Education support for the children in Katchur village –Tiruvellore dist

Share and care is running since 1984 working for the downtrodden children in both Chennai and Tiruvellore district. Our schools are functioning since 1990 exclusively for these children and we are now educating 200 children. Even though the government recognizes our schools, the government has given no aid since its inception. Now we need regular financial assistance to continue our mission for the children.

Our current need is to support 200 underprivileged children studying in our crèche, primary and high schools. Children need education, remedial classes, uniforms, dresses, books, notebooks nutritious food, transport facilities and special programmes in the school. The children’s home needs continuous nutritional and medical care to ensure holistic growth and development of children. Financial support is currently being received mostly from local donors, more in kind than in cash. There is no regular income from funding agencies or individuals. We need regular monetary support to continue the ongoing projects in Katchur village in Tiruvellore district

Share and Care is dedicated to eliminating the suffering of the poor through education. and regular balanced nutrition for the children in the remote villages. The main objective is to impart education freely to the underprivileged, orphan children, children belonging to scheduled caste and tribes in remote villages and to provide good food for them to have a healthy life.
