Nutritious Food Basket for Severely Affected T.B Patients

Manav Vikas Seva Sangh (MVSS) is a registered society and has been working since 1989 in 370+ villages of Sagar, Raisen, Vidisha, Ashoknagar and Guna districts.

 I am writing to propose an initiative to support TB patients in the districts of Vidisha, which are very vulnerable for TB patients. There are around 1800 TB patients we have identified in collaboration with DTO Vidisha. As you may be aware, the National Health Mission (NHM) is vigorously working on the elimination of TB from India by 2025. They have sought our support due to shortage of financial aid and reach in the community at grassroot level. 

In response to this call, we propose to provide nutritious baskets to 50 TB patients in the aforementioned district. Each basket, valued at approximately Rs 700 per kit can be provided to a patient for a period of one month. Since the duration of the course of medicine is six months, we need to support it for a period of six months. We aim to support initially with your support for 50 TB Patients in the area for 6 months. Hence I am sending an appeal letter to you requesting to support us to make successful Pradan Mantri TB Mukt Bharath Abiyan. 

We believe that this initiative will not only provide essential nutrition to TB patients but also demonstrate the commitment to serving the most vulnerable members of our society. We are in coordination with the District TB Officers (DTOS) and NHM to ensure the successful implementation of this programme.
