Old Age Homes- “After a lifetime of working, raising families, and contributing to the success of this nation in countless other ways, senior citizens deserve to retire with dignity”

Due to rapid urbanization traditional value system of people is lying down and priority leads to socio-economic conditions. The elderly, who provided their support and services to society, become neglected at this phase of life. As developmental endeavours, Vidyaranya is trying to create awareness and rehabilitation programmes for aged persons. 

Our organization has been running two Old Age Homes namely:

-         Hosa Belaku Home for the Aged (For Men)

-         Gandhi Home for the Aged (For Women)

The objective is to provide shelter, food, and medical facilities for senior Citizens and to indulge them in various entrepreneurial activities. Also, the inmates and their families are counseled and efforts are undertaken to reintegrate them with their families.

Our project has impacted 630 beneficiaries since the project’s inception.

Presently we have 25 beneficiaries at Mandur, Bangalore Urban District, and 25 beneficiaries in Channarayapattana of Hassan District.
