Story
In the remote village of Osla, Uttarkashi district, development has been long neglected, resulting in a lack of basic infrastructure such as schools, roads, and electricity. Children must walk 14-16 kilometers to attend school, posing significant risks, especially for younger children and girls. The future of around 350 children across four villages—Datmir, Gangad, Pawani, and Osla—is uncertain due to this neglect of education.
To address this urgent problem, the Samoon Foundation aims to build the Samoon Adarsh Vidhyalaya, a school that will serve 200 students. The foundation has secured land and received approval from the Education Department to operate grades 1 to 5. Local community members are volunteering to assist with construction, but essential materials like cement and steel are still needed.
The ultimate goal is to ensure that present and future generations in Osla can attain education and independence, fostering overall village development. The Samoon Foundation believes education is the key to upliftment and is committed to providing the necessary support for these children to thrive.

Project Status:The construction of Samoon Adarsh Vidhyalaya (SAV) is nearing completion. The school is designed to address the educational needs of children in the remote village of Osla, Uttarkashi district. Currently, the project includes five classroom blocks, two ablution facilities, and one teacher’s room, with plans for future expansions based on funding availability.
Progress Overview:- Land Purchased for School Building: 100% (Completed in July 2022)
- School Registration and Affiliation: 100% (Approval received in September 2022)
- Land Levelling: 100% (Completed in April 2023)
- Interior Wall and Roof Work: 100% (Completed in November 2023)
- Windows and Door Frame Fixing: 50% (Ongoing, due by May 2024)
- Cementing on Walls, Classroom Grounding, and Painting: 40% (Ongoing, due by June 2024)
- Staff Rooms and Washrooms: 0% (Scheduled to start in September 2024)
- Total Budget for Construction: Rs. 50 Lakhs
- Amount Spent to Date: Rs. 27 Lakhs (54% of total budget)
- Monthly Expenses: Rs. 1 Lakh (for staff salaries, building rent, and miscellaneous costs)
The project faces challenges related to funding for the completion of construction and ongoing operational costs. The community has shown strong support, but additional resources are needed to ensure the school can function sustainably.
Conclusion:The establishment of Samoon Adarsh Vidhyalaya is crucial for the educational development of Osla's children. The foundation seeks further support through government grants, CSR funds, and individual donations to complete the project and ensure its long-term viability. Education is essential for the upliftment of the community, and SAV aims to provide a safe and conducive learning environment for the children of Osla.

समूण आदर्श विध्यालय" अब मान्यता प्राप्त विध्यालयोँ की सुची मे समलित
हमे आप सभी को यह बताते हुए अपार खुशी हो रही है कि उत्तराखँड सरकार से हमारे "समूण आदर्श विध्यालय" को मान्यता मिल गयी है । *अब हमारा विध्यालय मान्यता प्राप्त विध्यालयोँ की सुची मे समलित हो गया है* । अभी हमे कक्षा 1 से लेकर कक्षा 5 तक की मान्यता अगले 5 सालोँ तक के लिए मिली है और आगे विध्यालय को कक्षा 8 तक की मान्यता के लिए प्रयासरत हैँ ।
आप सभी को बता देँ कि समूण आदर्श विध्यालय मे अध्यनरत सभी विध्यार्थियोँ को 100 प्रतिशत निशुल्क शिक्षा दी जाती है और ओसला जैंसे दुरस्त जगह पर शहरोँ की तर्ज पर बेहतर से बेहतर शिक्षा प्रदान करने हेतु हम प्रयासरत हैँ । समूण आदर्श विध्यालय और समूण ट्रैनिगँ सेंटरोँ के सँचालन मे हमे प्रति माह लगभग 1 लाख रुपयोँ का खर्च आता है जो सिर्फ और सिर्फ हमारे सम्मानित सदस्योँ के द्वारा दान स्वरुप प्राप्त होता है ।
*समूण परिवार* के सभी सम्मानित सदस्योँ, दान दाताओँ और अनुयायियोँ को समूण आदर्श विध्यालय को सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त विध्यालयोँ की सुची मे समलित होने पर ढेर सारी बधाई एँव सुभकामनाएँ । वास्तव मे यह कार्य इतना आसान नही था लेकिन आप सभी के सहयोग और आशिर्वाद से यह सम्भव हो पाया है । इसके साथ ही हमने स्वयँ की जमीन भी खरिद दी है जिसकी रजिस्ट्री हो चुकी है और स्कूल के भवन निर्माण का कार्य यथासिघ्र शुरु किया जायेगा ।
हर्दय की गहराईयोँ से आप सभी सदस्योँ का बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद एँव आभार क्योंकि आपके सहयोग के बिना यह सम्भव नही था । समूण फाउंडेशन आज उत्तराखँड मे समाज सेवा के पथ पर अग्रसर होते हुए एक अलग ही पहचान बनाने मे सफल हो रहा है और हमे पुर्ण विश्वास है कि वह दिन दूर नही जब समूण फाउडेशन सिर्फ उत्तराखँड ही नही बल्कि देश के बहुप्रतिष्ठित NGO की लिस्ट मे समलित होगा क्योंकि इस सँस्था का संचालन एक ब्यक्ति नही बल्कि एक परिवार चलाता है जिसका नाम #समूण_परिवार है, जिस पर हमे अपार गर्व है ।
