Plant a Million Trees

• The air quality has deteriorated over time, especially in big cities in India. 
• A concern with plantation drives is the maintenance and reporting of trees. 
• Most NGOs are not fully transparent on fund utilisation.

• Kalpavriksha’s objective of planting 1 million trees is a mega project in itself. We have started off 3 years back and have been growing stronger with each passing year.
• By planting at least 1 million trees, we wish to offer our 2 cents in addressing the problem of air pollution.
• We ensure that every single tree that is planted, is also nurtured, watered, pruned until it grows big enough to serve us back. We do this with the help of our partner NGOs as well as dedicated tea of volunteers and donors.
• We have taken financial and accounting transparency to the next level. All our accounting, tax returns, financial statements, are all visible online to anyone.

Better quality of air for our children to breathe. Full transparency in fund utilisation. Plants are nurtured and cared for, so that we have increased green cover and reduced air pollution.
