We require our own space for animals that are sick/injured/post surgery to recover at the center till they are fit to be released back.Some animals that are handicapped and/or too old and cannot be released will stay here for lifetime.
WFA animal helpline attends to 30 calls for treatment of sick/injured animals from Monday to Saturday. WFA is actively involved in cat sterilisation program. Every animal that comes to WFA for treatment is groomed and vaccinated. Apart from rescue, treatment and sterilisation, WFA actively promotes adoption of Indian breed puppies and kittens, we sensitise school and college students to be compassionate towards animals and environment under our program-Teach Co-Exist.
Create safe haven for old, handicapped stray animals, provide quality treatment and hygienic environment where sick/injured animals can recover, sterilise & vaccinate maximum number of stray animals to control population and reduce poverty.
