Over 200 GirCows (Pure Gir Breed Cows) are being reared and taken care of in their natural habitat in Shri Krishna Pranami Gaushala. The gaushala has modern infrastructure, and high-quality cattle-feed is given to the cows.
Acharya Shri 108 Krishnamaniji Maharaj is now planning to further modernise and fully automate the cattle sheds. The products of our gaushala are made available to the public at a reasonable rate. We also engage in research on natural cattle-feed. This Shri Krishna Pranami Gaushala at Jamnagar adds pride to our Nation. Shri Krishna Pranami Gaushala is affiliated with gaushalas of all over India.
Promotion of indigenous breeds of cow (specifically Gir breed), organic food, organic dairy products, the benefits of cows’ milk, organic farming, Ayurveda, agricultural training, dairy technology and manufacturing various products from cow dung are some of the activities that take place at Shri Krishna Pranami Gaushala.
The animals at our gaushala are well taken-care of and fed only organic fodder. By only practicing organic farming, we ensure the good health of the people who consume our cows’ milk and other products. People who volunteer with us for farming enjoy the process and their health is greatly benefitted.
