Hunger doesn’t look the same everywhere. The issue of hunger is nuanced, and many different factors affect food security in India. Eradicating hunger and malnutrition is one of the great challenges of our time. Not only do the consequences of not enough – or the wrong – food cause suffering and poor health, they also slow progress in many other areas of development like education and employment. Every day, Marpu Foundation and its partners work to bring us closer to a zero hunger world. With our humanitarian food assistance, we provide nutritious food to those in urgent need. Meanwhile, our complimentary programs address the root causes of hunger, building the resilience of communities, so we don’t need to keep saving the same lives each year. Beat the hunger and bring out the best of humanity using food as a medium.

COVID-19 brought new awareness to hunger as families suffered record levels of economic hardship. But as life returns to normal for many of us, too many individuals still face the painful consequences of food insecurity while vulnerable families continue to struggle. The program "Feed The Needy" has a unique solution. We’ve developed long-term partnerships and collaborations to help deliver specially formulated meals to needy individuals.

Our feeding program includes the below beneficiaries -

• Disaster relief
• Children (Runaway, Schools, and Malnourished)
• Lactating mothers
• Homeless
• Subsidized meals for economically poorer individuals
• Old-age homes

With the generous provision of nutritionally complete meals specifically formulated for the needy individuals with balanced nutrition for Children and other organizations, thousands of individuals receive a hot meal prepared daily by our network of volunteers. We've been actively working to fulfill the needs through our various data sources which have been verified by our volunteers. Emergency needs are our first priority and during these hard times, we are working round the clock serving people.
